Nafziger's Men's Store
In 1946, Nafziger’s Mens Store opened its doors for business in the present location downtown Nampa. In the early years of business, then owner, Howard Nafziger employed a young Dave Lancaster who was also a business administration student at Northwest Nazarene College. Howard later sold the business to Del Beukelman and Dave continued to work at Nafziger’s until Del retired in 1996, and Dave bought the store.
Owners, Dave and Joan Lancaster have continued the tradition of providing personalized customer service, and they pride themselves on offering higher quality products than most department stores. General manager, Craig Beukelman (Del’s son) has done most of the buying for Nafziger’s for the last few years.
Together, they offer in-house tailoring, fine suits, sport coats, slacks, hats, shoes, belts, ties, wallets, fashion shoes and more. Nafziger’s also has tuxedo rentals for all those special occasions such as weddings, proms. For over 60 years, Nafziger’s Mens Store has been a solid business staple in Nampa for the well dressed man. Their number one goal is to keep their customers happy!
Dave is keenly interested in the revitalization of downtown Nampa and has been the President of the Downtown Nampa Business Association for the previous four years. If you drop by the store this time of year, you are most likely to find him in Blue and Orange more than you are to find him in one of his well-pressed suits, as he is a huge BSU fan.
